Rolling Fatties is open for the 2026 Summer season!
The #snikibar at Rolling Fatties.
Hello out there! Thanks for subscribing! Rolling Fatties, a locally sourced restaurant and bar in cute little Kingfield, Maine is open for their 13th summer. Woot! A few things to look forward to this summer:
Thursdays are looking sharp! A guided mountain bike to Freeman Ridge Bike Park or gravel bike ride (see @rolling_fatties on Instagram for updates) at 5:30. WINGS are back! Served with their fresh local veg and Crooked Face Creamery ricotta dipping sauce, a limited amount will be available every Thursday so come early! And we’re amping it up for our local crowd and any visitors who may pop in on Thursday with a $10 #snikibar margarita from 4-8.
Music from 5-8 on Fridays continues with a line up of local musicians.
Our dining rooms are set up as a summer gallery with artwork by Maine artist Kate Burgau for June and July. Kate is a nature artist and works in pen and ink, watercolor, and gouache paint. Our artist for August and September will be local Claudia Diller. Kingfield Friday Artwalk is the first Friday of every month from 5-7.
We have a little market set up in our entrance. Local cheese, meat, and our own Zig Zag Tortillas, sauces, dips, and spreads are available for purchase. Come check it out as we are adding more all the time.
And yes, Zig Zag Tortillas are our new thing. A separate post will follow on that whole development!
Our summer hours are Thursday 4-8, Friday and Saturday 12-8, and Sunday 12-6.
We have decided it’s time to sell the restaurant. If you or anyone you know has interest in owning a profitable and fun food business in a community that’s growing more vibrant by the season, please reach out to polly@rollingfatties.com. If you were wondering, we plan to continue working and living in Kingfield, we’re just ready to do something a little different! Change is good for us!
Again, thanks, and hope to see you soon!
